How to connect on Windows

  1. Open the Start menu and click on the Settings icon (gear icon in the bottom left corner of the screen).
  2. In the Settings window, select Network & Internet.
  3. On the left side of the screen, select VPN.
  4. Click the Add a VPN connection button.
  5. Select the type of connection you want to use (e.g., L2TP/IPsec with pre-shared key). Also, choose a name for your connection.
  6. In the Server name or address field, enter the VPN server address (vpn.czechvpn.cz or vpn.grapesc.cz) you want to connect to.
  7. In the VPN type field, select the connection type from step 5.
  8. In the Type of sign-in info field, select the authentication type (in our case User name and password).
  9. Enter your login credentials for the VPN service.
  10. If you wish, you can set up advanced connection options (e.g., proxy).
  11. Click the Save button.

If you want to test the connection, click the Connect button. After a successful connection, you will see a "Connected" message and your VPN connection will be active.

How to connect on MacOS

  1. Open the Apple menu in the top bar and select "System Preferences" (Settings).
  2. Click the "Network" icon.
  3. Click the "+" button in the bottom-left corner of the window to add a new network.
  4. Select "VPN" in the top part of the dialog box.
  5. In the drop-down menu, select the type of VPN you want to use (e.g., "L2TP over IPSec" or "Cisco IPSec").
  6. In the "VPN" field, select the protocol for your connection.
  7. In the "Service Name" field, enter a name for your VPN connection.
  8. Enter the VPN server address in the Server Address field: vpn.czechvpn.cz
  9. Enter your VPN login credentials in the "Account Name" and "Password" fields.
  10. Enter the Shared Secret (you will receive it along with your login details).
  11. Click the "Create" button.
  • Select your newly created connection from the network list.
  • Click the "Connect" button.
  • After a successful connection, you will see a "VPN" icon in the top menu bar.

How to connect on Android

  1. Open the Settings menu on your Android device.
  2. Tap on "Network & internet".
  3. Tap on "VPN".
  4. Tap the "+ Add VPN connection" button.
  5. Enter any connection name.
  6. Enter the connection type, such as L2TP or PPTP.
  7. Enter the VPN server address: vpn.czechvpn.cz
  8. Enter your login credentials and shared key (if required).
  9. Tap the "Save" or "Add" button (depends on the specific device).
  10. Your VPN configuration will now be saved in the list.
  11. Tap the switch next to your VPN connection name to turn it on, or tap directly on the VPN name.
  12. If prompted, enter your VPN login credentials and tap "Connect" or "OK".

After a successful connection, you will see a key or VPN icon in the top status bar of your device.

How to connect on iOS

  1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
  2. Tap on "General" and then "VPN & Device Management" (or directly on "VPN" in the main menu).
  3. Tap "Add VPN Configuration...".
  4. Select the VPN connection type you want to use (e.g., L2TP or PPTP).
  5. Enter any connection name in the "Description" field.
  6. Enter the VPN server address in the "Server" field: vpn.czechvpn.cz
  7. Enter your login credentials in the "Username" and "Password" fields.
  8. Enter the Shared Secret in the "Secret" field (you will receive it along with your login details).
  9. Tap the "Done" or "Save" button in the top right corner.
  10. Your VPN configuration is now saved. To connect, tap the Status switch so it turns green.

Once the connection is established, you will see "Connected" and a VPN icon will appear in the top status bar.
